Common questions
My video isn't saving to my gallery. What should I do?
If the export screen shows “Couldn't save to gallery”, tap “Save to gallery again”; if gallery access is off, the button in the warning takes you to Settings so you can allow Verva. If your device is low on space, lower the resolution or clear old exports from Settings > Storage in Verva.
Which permissions does Verva ask for, and why?
Camera and microphone are used to record video and sound in the app, gallery access lets you pick your videos to edit, and add-to-gallery permission saves the finished video. If you declined a permission, you can turn it on in Settings → Verva on your iPhone or iPad.
Where are my projects stored?
Your projects are kept only on your device; Verva needs no account and never uploads your videos. This also means that deleting the app deletes the projects on the device.
Can I recover a project I deleted by mistake?
Yes. Deleted projects move to the Trash and can be recovered within 30 days: open Trash in the My Projects tab and tap “Restore” under the project.
How does the Verva Pro trial work?
The annual plan lets you try Verva Pro free for 3 days; when the trial ends, the subscription starts and renews automatically. The monthly plan has no trial; if you don't want to be charged, cancel before the trial ends.
How do I restore Verva Pro on a new phone?
In Verva, tap “Restore Purchases” under Settings > Pro or on the Verva Pro screen; you need to be signed in with the Apple Account you used to buy. This restores Pro access only; your projects stay on the device they were made on.
How do I cancel my Verva subscription?
On your iPhone or iPad, open Settings → Apple Account (your name) → Subscriptions. While Pro is active, you can also tap Settings > Pro > “Manage Subscription” in Verva to open the subscription management screen.
Does Verva work on iPad?
Yes. Verva runs on iPhone and iPad and requires iOS 18 or later.

Subscriptions and refunds
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. To cancel, use Settings > Apple Account > Subscriptions; refund requests are assessed by Apple.
Your data
All projects, clips and exported videos stay on the device; no video is uploaded and no account is required. The subscription layer works with a randomly generated identifier, the Apple purchase receipt and technical details such as app version, language, country and a developer-scoped device identifier; your name, any advertising identifier and your location are never sent.
